Friendly reminder that GIMP does pretty much everything Photoshop does, and it’s 100% free. Fuck DRM and the license culture, we have plenty of open source options available to us as a consumer.
- Lightworks is a freeware video editor on par with Premiere
- Blender is an excellent freeware 3D renderer,possibly better than After Effects
- Lightzone to replace Lightroom
- Inkscape to replace Illustratr
- Audacity to replace Audition (I also received a free version of Pro Tools with my Scarlett Solo audio interface)
If Adobe is going to be greedy shitheads, then fuck ‘em. Don’t use their stuff. Freeware can be just as good, if not better, than Adobe CC.

- Audacity as mentioned above (for sound editing and recording, pretty sure it can do more stuff)
- Voloco: iOS - android (mostly for sound recording, effects and key correction on phones and can work with external microphones from my experience, and you can use an android emulator if you want to install it on PC)
- Bandlab (for sound editing, composing and recording and is the app I use the most for my musical projects)
- Bonus: I use Canva for my music video lyric project stuffs

Just because you don’t like what a character says or does or FAILS to say or do does not make them a bad character. Everybody is not here to please you, everybody is not meant to be your friend. It is a fictional character yes but they are created from actual human beings based on, you guessed it, human beings (with a set personality). If you don’t like it then simply find another book to invest in.
Unpopular opinion 🤔🤷🏽♀️
I really like across the void and playing as the siblings (mostly pax) although I do wish Titania had more scenes along with playing as mc more, I enjoy practically everything about the book. The outfits were stunning, the colors and scenery… absolutely amazing. I like all the characters and their different personalities. And the music is fantastic. The story is also pretty dang interesting to me. I honestly don’t see the reason people are complaining about a second book cuz I’m hyped!
Mickey is better than Lou
Honestly from the get go I always liked Mickey more than Lou (not only cause she’s perfect in the face 💕) but because she had the more explosive personality. She had emotions and attitude and the way she interacted was so much fun to watch, she was so unpredictable. I guess Lou was the mastermind but she didn’t do anything but like… murder 🤷🏽♀️. Mickey would always talk to us and antagonize us and it was fun. I looked forward to Mickey. So I can’t really be sad about Lou’s death, not as much as Mickey.
